Experience:
After high school in 1979, Grant studied university accounting for a couple of years while working for a Chartered Accountant firm. In 1987, after brief stints at unrelated businesses, Grant’s rural roots drew him to an outside job as a construction labourer. Grant was promoted to Foreman and Supervisor before moving to the estimating department in 1998. In 2003 he joined other management members to start AVERTEX Utility Solutions Inc. and head up the finance department.

With his knowledge of accounting and his organizational skills, Grant is well suited to manage our company’s finances. Grant's experience and learning will also benefit AVERTEX Utility Solutions Inc. in remaining viable and able to meet the financial demands of a leading edge utility construction company in the twenty first century.
